RECIPES

Beth, our Nutrition Director, whipped up a wonderful High Protein Smoothie. Just blend up the following ingredients and enjoy.

1 packet of our vanilla pudding/shake mix. 1/2 cup blueberries 1 boiled & peeled beet Ginger to taste (1/8 tsp) Cinnamon to taste (1/4 tsp) Turmeric (1/4 tsp)

Recipes using our High Protein Oatmeal packets:

APPLE CINNAMON OATMEAL COOKIES

1 packet of our Apples & Cinnamon Oatmeal, Scant 1/4 tsp cinnamon, Scant 2 packets Splenda, 1/3 cup water, Scant 1/8 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all dry ingredients together, add extract and water. Stir until moistened. Scoop into mini paper baking cups or greased baking pan (use Pam non-stick cooking spray) and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

GINGERBREAD COOKIE OATMEAL

1 packet of our Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal, 1/2-2 Tbsp sugar-free gingerbreadsyrup, 1/2-3/4 cup cold water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all dry ingredients together, add extract and water. Stir until moistened. Scoop into mini paper baking cups or greased baking pan (use Pam non-stick cooking spray) and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

OATMEAL PANCAKES

1 packet HealthWise Apples and Cinnamon Oatmeal, 4 ounces of water, Non-stick cooking spray, 2 Tbsp sugar-free non-caloric pancake syrup (optional)

Mix packet of oatmeal with water to create a batter. Coat a pan with non-stick cooking spray. Spoon batter onto pan and brown each side. Can be served with sugar-free, non-calorie syrup.

FOR CHOCOLATE FLAVOR:

MOCHA LATTE FROZEN DELIGHT

1 packet Chocolate V.H.P.

1 cup water. 5 ice cubes

1 cup brewed coffee (Regular or Decaf), or use instant coffee packet (try Mount Hagen Organic Fair Trade Instant)

Mix all ingredients together in blender until smooth.

CHOCOLATE BERRY SMOOTHIE

1 packet Chocolate V.H.P.

15 oz of cold water

1/2 cup of Fresh or Frozen Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, or Blackberries (If using fresh berries, add 4 ice cubes to make it frosty!)

1 pkt of splenda or stevia to taste if desired

Mix all ingredients together in blender until smooth.

Nutrition Facts (per serving): Calories 286, Fat 3 g, Carbohydrate 27 g, Protein 35 g

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE

1 packet Chocolate VHP

16 oz of cold water, 4 ice cubes

1 Tbs Low Fat Powdered Peanut Butter (such as organic Just Great Stuff by Betty Lou, or PB2)

Mix all ingredients together and blend until smooth.

CHOCOLATE BANANA SMOOTHIE

1 packet Chocolate VHP

15 oz cold water, 4 ice cubes

medium banana

Mix all ingredients together and blend until smooth

FOR VANILLA FLAVOR:

ORANGE CREAM SMOOTHIE

1 packet Vanilla V.H.P.

8 oz of Diet Orange Soda (try Zevia natural zero-calorie soda)

8 oz of Cold Water, 4 ice cubes

Mix all ingredients together, and blend (with lid on!) until smooth.

OLD FASHIONED SODA FOUNTAIN FLOAT

1 packet Vanilla V.H.P.

8 oz of Diet Root Beer or favorite flavor calorie-free soda (try Zevia natural zero-calorie soda - delicious! Flavors such as Cream Soda, Cherry Cola, Cola (caffeine or free), Lemon-Lime, Strawberry, Citrus-Grapefruit, Black Cherry, Grape, etc)

8 oz of Cold Water, 4 ice cubes

Mix all ingredients together, and blend (with lid on!) until smooth.

COFFEE AND CREAM FROZEN DELIGHT

1 packet Vanilla V.H.P.

1 cup water, 5 ice cubes

CREAMY PEACH SMOOTHIE

1 packet Vanilla V.H.P.

1 medium peach, peeled and sliced, or

8 oz of diet cream soda

8 oz of cold water, 5 ice cubes

Mix all ingredients together, and blend (with lid on!) until smooth.

FOR STRAWBERRY FLAVOR:

Try any of the above recipes that strike your fancy!

Favorites: add strawberries to make a DOUBLE STRAWBERRY DELIGHT; add medium banana to make a STRAWBERRY BANANA SWIRL; add no-calorie diet cream soda or strawberry soda to make a FROSTY FLOAT (Zevia makes delicious options); try topping your shake with a drizzle of light chocolate syrup or a few shavings of dark chocolate.

Four new recipes for High Protein Hot Chocolate and Cappuccino! They are made using the high protein hot chocolate or vanilla cappuccino packets which provide 15 grams of protein for only 80 calories.

PUMPKIN PIE CAPPUCCINO Ingredients: 1 packet of High-Protein Vanilla Cappuccino 1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice, extra for topping 2 tbsp. canned pure pumpkin 1/2 cup light vanilla soymilk 1/4 cup Fat Free whipped cream Directions: Get out your favorite microwavable cup or mug, and add the cappuccino packet. Stir in 3/4 cup of hot water until mixed well. Stir in the canned pumpkin, then add the soymilk and stir in until smooth. Pop in the microwave until hot, about for 30 - 45 seconds. Stir and top with whipped cream and sprinkle pumpkin pie spice on top for style! Enjoy! MAKES 1 SERVING

CARAMEL CINNAMON ROLL CAPPUCCINO Ingredients: 1 packet of High-Protein Vanilla Cappuccino 6 oz of hot water (or 6 oz of hot coffee for an extra boost) 1 tbps. of Sugar Free Caramel Syrup (such as Torani or DaVinci) 1/8 tsp. cinnamon 1 drop almond extract Directions: Take out your favorite coffee mug, add all ingredients, pour in the hot water or coffee last. Stir well and enjoy. MAKES 1 SERVING.

WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP MOCHA Ingredients: 1 packet of High-Protein Hot Chocolate. 2 tsp. instant coffee granules 3/4 cup of Hot Water 1/2 cup light vanilla soymilk 1 tsp. white chocolate chips, diced Optional topping: Fat Free Whip Cream Directions: Add 1 packet of high protein hot chocolate and instant coffee into your favorite microwaveable cup. Stir 3/4 cup hot water into the mixture. Once blended, add soymilk. Microwave about 45 seconds, until hot. Top with diced white chocolate chips. Enjoy! MAKES ONE SERVING.

SALTED CARAMEL MOCHA Ingredients: 1 packet High-Protein Hot Chocolate 2 tsp. instant coffee granules 1 cup light vanilla soymilk 2 tsp. Fat-free caramel dip 1 1/2 tsp. semi-sweet mini chocolate chips 1/2 cup hot water 2 tbsp. Light whipped cream Dash coarse sea salt Directions: Place the High-Protein Hot Chocolate powder, instant coffee, and chocolate chips in your favorite oversized microwavable mug. Stir in 1/2 c hot water and 1 tsp caramel dip until melted. Add soymilk, stir, then microwave for 1 minute. Top with light whipped cream, drizzle the other tsp of caramel dip, and sprinkle on the sea salt. Enjoy! MAKES ONE SERVING.
